Even if you’re not a fan of bar soap, we’re going to guess that you’ve at least seen Yardley London soaps at your local drugstore. To cut to the chase, these soaps are so awesome for so many reasons. As a cleanser, they are at the top of our must have list. For one whole buck, you can have one whole elegant bar of delicately scented (and the aroma, let us just tell you…) cruelty-free, paraben and sodium lauryl sulfate free, British import soap crafted with real, natural oils and plants. This bar of soap rivals your most expensive bar of soap hands down. The lather is rich and creamy and the smell, the smell, the smell. Your neighbors will think you opened up a high end spa.
If you’ve never heard of Yardly London before that’s okay. It’s like a sleepy cult classic that word only gets out about every few years. Yardley London is part of the Lornamead product line which includes Finesse, LypSyl, Aquanet, and Natural White. Yes, these soaps come from the same people who created Aquanet and Finesse–your grandmother’s grandmother’s hair spray. Retro hair sprays aside, because who is really checking for Aquanet anymore, Yardley hit it out of the park with their soaps. Their classic scents (English Lavender, Lily of the Valley, and English Rose) are so intoxicating and the fact that you get so much for so little is so lovely.
These soaps leave your skin really soft and you’ll walk around smelling so delicate all day long. These are the times when we wish we all had scratch and sniff screens. Genius people who work at Google, can you please get on that? We get to sit by and breathe in all this goodness while you’re all being deprived of a nose and lung aromatic massage right now, as you read this. This soap is just so good, it makes you want to take a bath especially if you have dry skin because their Yardley of London Oatmeal And Almond Soap is just so much goodness packed into four ounces. But you can’t go wrong with any of their bars. Don’t sleep.
