We love body scrubs. In particular, the ones that smell like heaven and leave your skin glowing like a goddess and looking like a babe (and we’re all about that babe life). They are like mini spas moments. We’ve tried a lot of scrubs and love a lot of them, but one of our absolute favorite brands is Tree Hut for two reasons. One, the affordable cost and two, the quality ingredients. Right now, we’re loving Tree Hut Italian Mocha Firming Sugar Scrub and the Tree Hut Italian Mocha Firming Body Lotion. We are fans of all of their products, but the absolute amazing smell of this new duo alone is enough to make anyone a fan for life.
Body scrubs come in a lot of different formulations but we like our scrubs like we like our hair products — gentle and full of oils. This scrub, that smells like caramel, mocha and chocolate (the scent will fill up your entire house with the essence of yum), formulated with certified organic shea butter as well as coffee grounds, caffeine and oils including safflower, evening primrose, sweet almond and orange oils.
The key to body scrubbing like a babe is to make sure that your scrub works and is not just a pretty jar of fluff. Sugar and oil is just sugar and oil, but when you mix in butters, oils and caffeine for skin firming benefits then you’re working with something. It also helps when your scrub is affordable and since this big jar is less than $6 as is the lotion, you can buy two or three at a time and not feel like you overspent.
We used the Tree Hut Italian Mocha Firming Sugar Scrub and the Tree Hut Italian Mocha Firming Body Lotion to shower and scrub down and them smooth it all down and yes, we smelled like a chocolate babe (see what we did there), but we glowed like a babe too. The scrub works by moisturizing your skin as well as tightening and smoothing out stretch marks and cellulite and following that up with the lotion gives you another dose of caffeine which helps to firm and tone your skin even more. Yes, you will smell like a French chocolate shop, but you will also glow with your tight skinned self.
We’ve been big fans of Tree Hut beauty products for many years and are really digging this new sugar scrub?and body lotion.
