If you were not already aware, Organix is now known as OGX. They’ve been rolling our their name change for a while, but no need to feel like you’ll be confused. The bottles and packaging are the staple “Organix” style and you can’t miss their new look because the only thing that really changed is their logo. What has not changed is their varied lined of products that they keep pumping out. We’ve tried and loved lots of their shampoos and conditioners and now we have a hydrating, moisture mist to add to our list.
A great pick for spring, OGX Quenched Sea Mineral Moisture Shimmering Weightless Moisture Replenisher is a simple and clean mist that is designed to be used as a finishing spray. Like the name implies, it quenches dry hair and is great for damaged hair that needs a boost. It’s formulated with a nutrient rich blend of hydrating sea minerals along with healing algae to wrap your split ends in moisture to help contain them and the sea kelp helps to take dry, crunchy and brittle curls into soft, supple perfection. We like the ingredients and it definitely worked for us. This can make wavy hair a little greasy if you use it on dry hair so it’s best on wet to damp wavy hair and both wet and dry for tightly curled to kinky hair (though we loved it most after a wash) and for a boots of shine and moisture when you need it. A good spray evenly all over your hair will give you a bit of a shimmering, glossy glow that lasts all day long with a really fresh and crisp smell. This worked great to give us light hair that we set with a little light cream for twist outs and they were very defined but not weighted down and shiny. We’re gonna put OGX Quenched Sea Mineral Moisture Shimmering Weightless Moisture Replenisher down in the books as a spring time hair (a.k.a. perfect for light fluffy curls) winner.
