Picture this. A makeup photo shoot day like any other day here at the office. Makeup is over flowing, our models–a beautiful mix of professionals and women who love to pose for the camera in their spare time–are munching on food and talking about the crazy things that are coming down their Instagram feeds at that moment. Music is blasting. Drake, Rhianna, Capital Cities. All the good music and all the fun everywhere is being had. It was a typical day. Little did we know that we were setting ourselves up for makeup amnesia.
Nikia walks over to get her face done by Lindsey who works her magic like always. Angel snaps photos and between laughs, serious model slayage and a twerk here or there, it’s all over in about five minutes. Nikia’s work is done and it’s on to the next model. Photos go from camera to drive to office desk to sit for a while. And that’s when it happens. Somewhere between that photo shoot and all the others, we forgot about this one until one day Paris reminds us that we have these amazing photos. But there is a problem, we have not idea what’s on Nikia’s lips. Her eyes, yes. That’s a liquid liner, but her lips. Ummm…
That’s where you, beautiful ones, come in because we can’t for the life of us figure out what Lindsey put on her lips. It’s such a pretty pink lipstick and is absolutely, freaking gorg(!!), no? We’ve been flipping tubes of lipstick for the last few days and swatching lips and arms like crazy people. We have a lot of pink hues to get through and we feel confident that we’ll figure it out soon enough. It’s just been so long that we’re in the #struggle trying to figure it out. It’s makeup amnesia, ya’ll. Is it Lime Crime, is it MAC? Only the makeup gods know for now. Or maybe you do. So let’s play a fun game, kiddos. What color do you think this is on Nikia’s lips?
