“Lip Service” is our new makeup feature where we highlight a lipstick, gloss or any other variation of lip color that looks damn good on. No makeup, no distractions. Just us in moisturizer, lipstick and unforgiving (beauty truth serum) flash photography. This is the true test of how pretty lip paint can enhance our beauty.
Pink-based burgundy/red wine
Milani Sangria #21 is actually a matte lipstick that has a slightly glossy finish. It’s a perfect combination of a matte and satin lipstick – your lips are not too dry and not too shiny. Apply this in one coat and you get a nice pink lip stain. Apply three or more coats and you’ll get a deep rich color like Nikia’s finish. Also, it smells like watermelon Jolly Ranchers. This color is gorgeous on any skin tone.
HOW NIKIA APPLIED IT
“I’m absolutely horrible at putting on my lipstick perfectly and that I have no idea how to use lip liner. It’s as foreign to me as chopsticks so I used the Milani Sangria as my lip liner and lipstick straight from the tube. I primed my lips with clear chapstick before applying the lipstick since it goes on a bit dry.”
