Her new single, “WTF (Where They From)” is classic Missy–which might we add is groundbreaking in its own right–and classic Missy has always been ahead of it’s time, so homegirl didn’t even have to really change her sound. She simply decided that the personal break was over. It was as if she started cutting this track years ago, paused and went back into the studio and was like, “Pick the beat back up.” That’s bad ass.
