Here's How You Can Get Free Birth Control Delivered To Your Front Door

If you are in need of birth control and hate to even drive to the drugstore to get it, then you are going to love Nurx.

Nurx, the birth-control home-delivery app that delivers birth control to your front door (without a visit to the doctor, with or without insurance and all starting at $15 a month) has extended their holiday birth control promotion for new users. Sign up for the app and you’ll receive a $45 credit by using the promo code “DonaldTrump.” The credit is good for up to three months of free birth control.

The company’s campaign is driven by the horror that was the 2016 election and fuck boy Trump’s wavering stance on repealing Obamacare. “Donald Trump has said repeatedly that he wants to repeal the Affordable Care Act, and that would mean that millions of women would lose access to free birth control. This motivated us to figure out a way to help make contraception even more accessible,” co-founder and CEO Hans Gangeskar said in a press release. Unfortunately, Nurx is only available (for now) in California, New York, DC, Washington state, Pennsylvania, and Illinois, but the company has expressed plans to go nationwide, adding more than 20 states by February of this year, including Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, Maryland, Illinois, Florida, Missouri and Michigan. So that means you should go ahead and download the app because this service will probably be available in your state soon.

Whether or not you have insurance should never be a deciding factor in access to birth control, which for a few more days is still free thanks to the Affordable Care Act and will remain free if Trump does not repeal the ACA. Unfortunately, however, Tom Price, Trump’s pick to head the Health and Human Services Department, is a fierce opponent of abortion and the Affordable Care Act’s birth-control mandate which covers birth control without a copay because he believes its unnecessary.

To use Nurx, simply select your brand of birth control, answer a few health questions and enter your insurance and shipping information. A doctor will review your information and write a prescription for your contraception which will be delivered to your door for free and in most cases, within 72 hours after your request has been approved.
