Hair rules calls it “skin care for your hair” we call it the bomb.com and in comparison we think our description is much more on point. For our Hair Rules Daily Cleansing Cream review, we tested this bottle until we couldn’t test anymore and the results were always consistent.
“Created to treat your hair with the same philosophy as skin care. Daily cleansing cream is a gentle non-sudsing cleanser that helps to normalize oil production in the scalp and reduce irritation and flakes.” We were drawn in by the brands claim to normalize oil production. Though this is what lots of shampoos set out to do, many don’t accomplish this task at all. what you are left with is stripped, too clean, straw like hair and if you are used to this feeling, you come to think that this is how hair should feel after a shampoo. nope.
All hair textures can benefit from hHair Rules Daily Cleansing Cream. Designed for moisture, it didn’t strip our hair or make us think of rusty railroad tracks as we rinsed, instead it felt like we’d put conditioner in our hair and then washed it out with no residue left behind. It made for quick and easy in-shower detangling and a fast, but effective and slippery wash – no knotted curls here. If you are into washing your hair with conditioner, you’ll know this feeling quite well but this cleansing cream takes it a step further and washes out very similar to a shampoo but does not leave your hair stripped.
Hair Rules Daily Cleansing Cream is a wonderful option year round but really stands out for summer time hair. It even has a light, summery smell. Frizzy often means hair that needs more moisture so starting with a shampoo like this one gives you a head start in making sure your hair has the perfect balance of moisture retention. Because it’s so creamy, you can skip straight to your leave-in conditioner as we did and style from there. This is that bang for your buck product that once you try you may not be able to get enough of. A little goes a long way and we even love it on the kiddos because it’s so creamy that it does not run. Our only pet peeve with this product is the bottle which we think would be easier to squeeze once the product gets low if it was in a tube instead.
Bottle nuances aside, we are big fans of Hair Rules Daily Cleansing Cream for its multi-purpose use – washing, detangling, conditioning and moisturizing – the affordable price tag, and for just getting that washing curls should be easy but at the same time taking an out-of-the-box approach to suds.
