Valentine’s Day has come and gone, but that does not mean the romance has to die. We also understand that while you’re heart may be in it, your wallet may not be. We want you to enjoy special day with your loved one throughout the rest of the year, so here are some ways to ball with bae on a budget.
Restaurant.com
Here’s how it works:
You visit the site, enter the zip code you want to dine in, and choose from an array of restaurants. Purchase a deeply discounted gift certificate, and enjoy! To make it even cheaper, use retailmenot.com for a discount code. Most $25 gift certificates go for $5 dollars with a discount code! Bon Appétit!
Ubereats.com
Here’s how it works:
Located in major cities like ATL, San Francisco, Philly and NYC, Ubereats partnered with local restaurants to bring their foods directly to your home by using the Uber network. Most Uber users have codes and you can eat cheap, often for free! You and bae don’t have to leave the house.
White Castle
Ok, don’t roll your eyes. For the last 25 years the burger chain has offered a three-course meal Valentine’s dinner complete with hostess service and tableside service. The food is inexpensive, and the experience memorable! Don’t knock it.
Local Comedy Clubs
Many comedy clubs offer a show and dinner for as low as $25 per couple. Check your local comedy clubs for more info. A few years ago the wife and I enjoyed Paul Mooney and a delicious fried chicken meal for less than $20.
Ice Skating
If you live in a cold climate, check out local ice skating rinks. Many have lover’s specials on Valentine’s Day. If you’re in NYC, you can skate and enjoy some of the best street foods Midtown has to offer. A night out with your honey won’t cost more than $30.
Enjoy your Bae Date!
